  • Recent graduates in Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Eagerness to learn traditional construction and analysis methods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Structural Engineering

Structural Engineer

Work on structural analysis, design, and site supervision across AVD construction, conservation intervention, and structural health monitoring projects.

  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognised institution
  • Background in structural analysis and design
  • Familiarity with STAAD, ANSYS or similar FEA software is preferred
Internships

One-Year Hands-On Internship

NDVPL's internship programme gives fresh graduates real-world exposure to structural engineering and heritage conservation — working on actual client projects, not simulations.

  • Duration

12 months of structured, on-site experience

  • Software Training

STAAD, ANSYS, and finite element analysis platforms used on live work

  • Live Projects

Structural analysis, drawing preparation, and site supervision on real projects

  • AVD Methodology

Training in arch, vault, and dome construction using lime mortar and stone masonry

Workshops & Webinars

AVD Construction Workshops

NDVPL conducts professional development workshops in Arches, Vaults, and Dome (AVD) construction for architects, engineers, and skilled masons — bringing traditional knowledge to modern practitioners.

Group Workshops

Intensive sessions for groups of 50 or more participants covering the geometry, structural logic, material science, and on-site practice of AVD construction using natural hydraulic lime.

  • 50+ participants per session
  • Hands-on mortar mixing and joint preparation
  • Arch geometry and centering techniques
  • On-site demonstration and guided practice

Team Programmes

Smaller, focused programmes tailored for individual design or construction teams — ideal for architectural firms, engineering consultancies, or contractors introducing AVD to their practice.

  • Custom cohort size for your team
  • Tailored to your project type and discipline
  • Structural calculation walkthroughs
  • Material specification and sourcing guidance

Webinars & Online Sessions

Online sessions covering heritage engineering concepts, lime mortar chemistry, structural health monitoring, and conservation principles — accessible to participants across India and internationally.

  • Live Q&A with NDVPL engineers and researchers
  • Case studies from real conservation projects
